Will my PCI Express slot be compatible with PCI Express 2.0 graphics card?

I was looking for a new graphics card since my newer monitor has a resolution that isn’t part of my current card. I just want to know if the PCI Express 2.0 card will be able to connect on my PCI Express 1.0 slot? http://bit.ly/jKdByB
