Does a PCI Express x16 1.1 card work in a motherboard that supports PCI Express x16 2.0?

I have a 8800 GTX which is pci express x16 1.1 and i need to buy a new motherboard, but all motherboards are pci express 2.0 now. Will my video card work on the new motherboard? http://bit.ly/lJFAIj
