My video card and pci slots are not alligned with the slots in the back of the case?

I could only install a pci sound card if I ripped out a piece of metal, and it looks like I can’t install a video card because the case slot isn’t aligned with the video card slot, how can I fix this? I have a Compaq motherboard in an emachines case http://bit.ly/pKiDcm
